Job Description:
ICON Communication Centres is a leading contact centre based in Prague and it announces a new and immediate start (June) vacancy for an ICT Assistant working within its Information, Communication and Technology (ICT) department.
This role will report directly to ICON’s ICT Manager. The successful candidate will be responsible for taking care of the day to day support and troubleshooting of hardware and software deployed by ICON to support its organisational immediate and future needs.
Working hours- Monday to Friday 10:30- 19:00
Duties:
• Perform hardware and software maintenance duties in between 10:30 and 19:00
• Troubleshoot and correct hardware/software computer and network problems
• Assist with the maintenance and operation of approx. 150 workstations
• Assist in business related duties
• Ensure all daily tasks including backups complete successfully
• Offer telephony system technical support
• Offer technical support for ICON developed platforms
• Report generation
• Develop user guides with policies and procedures
Essential experience/requirement:
• Bsc degree in computing and documented experience within ICT Support
• Working knowledge of Microsoft SQL and or other SQL database platforms
• Windows/MS Office knowledge
• Knowledge of ticketing systems.
• Knowledge of networking, hardware & software (firewalls, routers & switches)
• Able to handle a variety of assignments simultaneously
• Service minded, organized and ability to work independently with little supervision
• Excellent English language speaker
• Legally able to work in Czech Republic
Desirable experience/requirement:
• 1 to 2 years experience providing all round technical support to users
• Thorough knowledge of PC hardware and software
• An appreciation of the call centre industry and associated technology
• Expert knowledge of Excel & VBA macros
• Knowledge of Windows OS and Active Directory
• Telephony system experience
• T-SQL, PHP/HTML knowledge
