Manager Enterprise IT Operations in Telenor

To Manage countrywide End User Computing support, enterprise applications (Email, AD, antivirus, identity management etc) operations and IT escalation/help desk for end user computing.

Key Responsibilities:    
-be responsible for smooth running of daily operations and providing swift resolution to end users
-Must be able to work in a way that organizational human and financial resources are utilized in the best possible and economical way.
-Responsible for recruiting (internally or externally), training/grooming, leading, motivating and maximizing utilization, efficiency and effectiveness of required and assigned/available resources.
-Providing a key interface for organizational interactions to senior management and other functional units such as Finance, Human Resources, and other technology units etc.
-Responsible for improving the efficiency and effectiveness of the IT processes and interactions both internally within the function as well as externally with all interfacing entities in the organization
-Seeking and obtaining sponsorships and budget commitments, including cost (Capex/Opex) approvals for new and ongoing initiatives.
-Prioritizing and managing many open complaints at one time.
-Rapidly establishing a good working relationship with team and colleagues.
-Should be able to work, update and implement policies and procedures.
-Must be able to take measures in optimal way to improve customer satisfaction
-Ensure the competence levels of team member are up to the mark in a dynamic environment
-To ensure availability KPIs for Enterprise Applications
-To manage and own trouble ticketing mechanism for IT support and ensure relevant reporting requirements are fulfilled
-To manage IT escalation desk, coordination with backend teams and vendors
