To ensure the availability of enterprise application suite (MS Exchange, Active Directory, sharepoint, as per SLA's/OLA's and business needs. The Application portfolio includes, but not limited to Microsoft exchange, Active Directory, MOSS, SCCM, SCEP, SCVMM, SCOM,TMG, forefront suite, Tivoli Identitiy and Access Management, and support to some inhouse applications.
Key Responsibilities:
-To work with and through rest of the team members in order to deliver the backend Office/Enterprise Application Services, unified communciation services and other related servcies to all internal customers. The Application portfolio includes, but not limited to Microsoft exchange, Active Directory, MOSS, SCCM, SCEP, SCVMM, SCOM,TMG, forefront suite, Tivoli Identitiy and Access Management, and support to some inhouse applications
-Update and enforce the Disaster Recovery plan in his area
-Work to prepare and maintain the up-to-date documentation related to all areas and related application platforms.
-Improve and enforce standard operational procedures and ensure that every major change in the infrastructure is well planned and fully documented
-Update and maintain Service Levels for various systems towards multiple internal customers
-Coordinate and liaison with various vendors for the timely executing of support services, keeping a close eye on the service quality & service levels.
-Plan all performance and capacity upgrades as required for expansion of systems based on application usage and functionality
-Assess and plan the performance optimization
-Participate in new projects related to his/her area with a leading role, liaison with internal teams and external vendors and contribute to the timely and optimal delivery of project objectives
-Ensure effective flow of information within and between his/her sub unit and other business units.
-Act as Level 2 support for End User Computing services
