Technical Education in High and Higher Secondary Boys and Girls Schools of Each District in Punjab
It is submitted to all administrators DEAs and DCs in Punjab, all chief executive officers DEA in Punjab and all the district education officers (SE) in Punjab.Subject: Functioning of 1080 Vocational Workshops in High and Higher secondary schools 15 Boys and 15 Girls Schools of Each District.

The honorable chief minister has directed that school education department should introduce technical education at school level. In this connection finance department has already provided funds an amount of Rs. 31500 Million (Rs. 275000 purchase of equipment's and Rs 25000 maintenance of workshop for each school 1080 vocational training workshops in schools in the financial year 2009-2010.
It is requested that CEOs and DEOs(se) shall visit workshop schools in their respective districts. Further they shall have to ensure functioning of these workshops and admission of students in these tracks by the head teachers.
