‘Security being beefed up at UET’s Jalozai campus’

PESHAWAR: Prof Iftikhar Hussain, Vice-Chancellor of University of Engineering and Technology Peshawar, has said that the varsity is taking full scale measures to give most ideal security to the understudies and staff at its Jalozai grounds.

In an announcement issued here on Monday, he said the Jalozai grounds would be revived after the late spring get-aways, dismissing as unmerited a news report showed up in a segment of press in regards to long conclusion of the grounds.

Dr Hussain said the college had asked for both the HEC and the common government to help it satisfy its security requirements for Jalozai grounds. He said the varsity all alone had officially found a way to bulk up security at the grounds, which included employing of private monitors and measures to ensure the limit divider.

He said to guarantee congruity of instruction of understudies of Jalozai grounds, game plans had been made for their training and boarding at the principle grounds before begin of summer get-aways.
