THAAP in collaboration with Society for Cultural Education (SCE)

Lahore: The first THAAP Seminar titled "History of the Book" was held and finished up at 6:30 P.M. The Seminar was sorted out by THAAP in a joint effort with the Society for Cultural Education (SCE) at 37-D, Main Gulberg, Lahore.

The Inaugural Session of the Seminar started with the appreciated address by Prof. Sajida H. Vandal, an educationist, draftsman, CEO THAAP, Director Society for Cultural Education and Director Global Arts. She then respected our Keynote speaker Dr. Mubarak Ali, incredibly famous Historian, and additionally the Chief Guest Prof. Dr. Muhammad Nizamuddin, Chairperson, HEC Punjab, to say a couple words.

The First Session after tea break was led by Prof. Dr. Syed Jaffar Ahmed. The principal paper was introduced by Dr. Ghulam Abbas titled "Advancement of Nastaliq in Medieval India."

The second session was led by Prof. Dr. Arfa Sayeda Zehra, and was opened by Mr. Touheed Ahmed whose paper was titled "Kia murmur Kitabi Tabsra ki Sinf ko bhool baithay hain?"

The last session of the workshop was led by Prof. Dr. Tariq Rahman. The principal paper was by Dr. Mubarak Ali and was titled "Libraries on Fire" in which he talked about the causes and outcomes of blazing libraries.
