Finding the MAC Address on a Samsung Smartphone

The Media Access Control (MAC) address is a unique 12-character identifier (e.g. 00-00-00-XX-00-X0) for a specific piece of hardware, like the network adapter located in WiFi devices.

If you are using Optimum.net to register a WiFi device, you'll need to to know the device's MAC address. Registering a device allows you to access the Optimum WiFi network without having to login.
