ISLAMABAD: For the first run through in Pakistan's history, a Pakistani college has granted a MPhil degree in Hindi.
Military-run National University of Modern Languages (Numl) has turned into the first Pakistani college to recompense the degree. Numl understudy Shahin Zafar is the first understudy from a Pakistani college to get a MPhil degree in Hindi.
Her proposal, titled 'Swatantryottra Hindi Upanyason Mein NasriChittran (1947-2000)' was directed by Prof Iftikhar Husain Arif (Professor Emeritus Numl) and embraced by the Higher Education Commission.
A Numl representative said that because of shortage of Hindi specialists in Pakistan, Zafar's proposition was assessed by two outside specialists from Aligarh Muslim University in India.
