Sikh girl who topped Pakistan's Class 10 Board exams gets reward of Rs 1 lakh

On August 7 Pakistan's top Sikh religious body declared a prize of Rs 1,00,000 to a Sikh young lady who was among the toppers of the Class 10 examination from the minority group.

Manbir Kaur, a fifteen-year old from Nankana Sahib region of Punjab territory secured 1,035 imprints out of a sum of 1,100 imprints in Secondary School Examination this year. The outcomes for the examination were reported on July 30. She is an understudy of Shri Guru Nanak Devji High School at Nankana Sahib.

Pakistan Gurdwara Prabandhak Committee additionally reported that it will set up a store for splendid Sikh understudies, and has officially given one million rupees for the trust.
