All India Bank Conferdation (AIBC) sent circular to all public sector banks including IDBI and SBI associates to give local posting to female employees.
Decision took
- To place married female employee in a place where her husband is residing
- To place unmarried female employees in a place where her parents are residing
Impact of this policy by AIBC
- This year female candidates of IBPS PO and SBI PO will get local posting
- High joining rates. Joining location is the biggest issue behind not joining as a PO. I didn't join myself because of posting location. Right now at an average 20-25% of the total candidates don't join, now this rate will go down to 10-12%. There will be less number of vacancies in second and third lists.
