RBI has cancelled Certificate of Registration of six non-banking financial institutions (NBFCs). The reason being that they cannot be able to conduct business of non-banking financial activities. It is hereby important to noted that RBI at any time observed that if any institution cannot be able to bear the expenditures or losses then RBI cancelled the Certificate of Registration of that institution immediately.
Union Government of India has launched the Rashtriya Gokul Mission to protect the “indigenous breed” of cows. Under this scheme, some Integrated Indigenous Cattle Centres will be set up which will be useful for improving milk productivity in India. The aim of the government is to improving milk productivity in India. Agriculture Minister Radha Mohan Singh announced this scheme. The Union Government passed Rs.150 Crore to reach its peak of the mission.
