Karachi:April 04:A three-member delegation of US-based Global Training Unit called on AIG Sindh Ghulam Hyder Jamali at the Central Police Office and discussed the details of the proposed short training courses to be organised by the US Consulate for the officials and personnel of Sindh police for their capacity building, said a statement issued on Thursday.
The delegation, led by its Training Coordinator Naydja Bell, informed the AIG that the Global Training Unit would conduct short-term training courses based on modern technology for the Sindh Police. The delegation informed that they would also visit the Police Training Centre in this regard.
The delegation also called on IGP Sindh Iqbal Mehmood and informed him that the training courses were meant to enhance the capacity of the police personnel to cope with the crimes in a more effective and better manner.The news.
