A day after actress Geetika Tyagi posted a video on social media whose title is ‘Subhash Kapoor’s True Face’, and put a link on Twitter callit “confession of the sexual abuser”, Video which posted by actress Geetika Tyagi is of 31 minute, in the video it shows that Subhash Kapoor, the director of Jolly LLB and Phas Gaye Re Obama, and his wife come to confess Geetika Tyagi as she talks, like she seems to be scarred after she was allegedly assaulted by Subhash Kapoor more than a year ago. In video it clearly shown that actress Geetika Tyagi slaps Kapoor across his face.
Geetika Tyagi is seen accompanied by her friend Atul Sabharwal, who is director of Aurangzeb, who later complimented her on Twitter for posting the video. While video was recorded by Geetika Tyagi without Subhash Kapoor’s knowledge, was nearing 40,000 hits, the whole film industry was completely silent on Wednesday, barring Tigmanshu Dulia. The director of ‘Paan Singh Tomar’ tweeted, “If the film industry has any heart, they should boycott Atul Sabarwal has he was par this vicious scheme to demean Subhash Kapoor”.
Atul Sabharwal replied him by saying, “Do you know the facts? Were you there at the incident? Am I running around the film industry for support?.. Watch the video. Boycott me a thousand times and we will rise above all of you in this”. Tyagi, a theater and film actor who last release was ‘One By Two’, tweeted: “Shame!! One strong person who shows courage does not deserve this. Check facts and then come forward to say anything”.
Geetika Tyagi said that she had posted the video for this purpose to caution women who might come in contact with Kapoor professionally or socially, and might look up to him as a father figure or elder brother. Tyagi said, “It is not easy to upload this. Like that sexual assault this too is an invasion of my privacy that I am compelled to compromise to expose what Subhash Kapoor did to me”.
