Eligibility Criteria (Education/Experience/ Certifications):
Bachelors/ Masters Engineering in Electrical/Electronics/Telecommunications.
Firm grasp of GSM/GPRS/EDGE architecture. Sound knowledge regarding coverage and capacity site planning. Extensive experience of drive testing and logfile analysis and reporting. Soft parameter tuning (POC, HOC, Traffic Balancing, AMR Codecs).
Potential Career Path: Broaden business and technical knowledge through exposure with both technology and commercial teams.
Expand and develop expertise in RF Planning and Optimization.
Your typical day at work:
New sites design, survey, and drafts with SA vendors,
Area profiling and conducting TSS, creating TSSR after TSS
Drive testing both issue base and routine for the assigned BSC/Cluster/City.
Site integration and frequency plan implementation for new sites/expansions and city level re-tuning
Optimization both soft and hard of assigned BSC's/Cluster/city as per the set KPI targets
Coordination with different units for re-design task implementation and generation of re-design benchmark reports
Preparation of WO for parametric changes ,TCH /SDCCH re-dimensioning, HR activation/deactivation and TRX expansion (band, complex & soft)
Traffic balancing between GSM and DCS layer of the network
Monitoring the utilization of the cells and onward escalation for expansions /dismantling
Network quality stats monitoring and action taken on the basis of these stats.
Rehoming activities data preparation & coordination with concern departments.
Follow up with FOPS for faulty hardware replacement
Resolution of worst cells generated by NPA team.
Periodical Spectrum audits for possible internal and external interference issues
Handling of Customer complaints and suggesting RF solution for the complaints resolution.
