As a BSS Operations Officer, we empower you in access GSM network of BSS & their proactive maintenance as per the customer requirement and develop a sound understanding of their issues that could impact the Network performance. This will include site visits, follow-ups with the vendor & customer, audits to check supplier responsibilities and deliveries.
Eligibility Criteria (Education/Experience/ Certifications):
Degree(s)/Major(s): Electrical / Electronics/ Telecommunication Engineering (16 Yrs. of Education minimum)
Certification(s): Trainings on GSM Products and O&M would be preferred.
Sould have strong knowledge of GSM architecture & topologies
Good working experience around Power & Infrastructure
Excellent computer knowledge in general and specifically in Microsoft Office products
Potential Career Path: Develop strong communication skillset through coordination, and taking delivery from Vendors.
Being a part of CBOM, it will enhance the cross functional team handling & stakeholders .
Expand and develop expertise in areas of RAN and TXN O&M.
Your typical day at work:
Ensure timely CM/PM activities & perform site Audits for verification.
Daily tracking of Network KPIs' degradation of assigned Clusters within the SLA
Follow-ups on outages to maintain maximum TCH availability of Network
Timely resolution of network Worst cells
Reporting & analysis of CBOM KPIs
Optimum utilization of the available fuelling for assigned Clusters
Coordination in operation tasks such as Site re-parenting and (Hard and Soft) Expansions activities
Coordination with TP NOC and CRD to ensure a smooth liaison between the customer and the operator by weekly major issues analysis and rectification of root cause by field intervention if required.
Quality alarm issues follow-up and field interventions for critical issues escalated by NOC Quality team and RF.
To ensure smooth Operation & maintenance of Power Infrastructure (Generators, rectifiers, DB, Power distributions & allied accessories)
24 hours follow-up and field interventions in case of Hub sites outages and critical alarms escalated through NOC.
Spares and consumables tracking and follow-up with HQ team.
Meetings with supplier and follow-up on action points accordingly.
