Mercy Corps is seeking applications from potential candidates for the following position:
Project officer 01 Position (Islamabad based)
Qualification & Experience:
Master degree in social sciences or related discipline; degree in public Health will be a plus, at least four years of experience especially in a coordination role. Experience of working with an INGO and previous experience in maternal, neonatal and child health programs will be preferred. Excellent communication and presentation skills excellent writing skills are required. Proficiency in written and spoken English and Urdu. Proficiency in the use of computer especially MS Office is a must.
Responsibilities /Duties:
The incumbent will liaise with the project team and senior technical health advisor in ensuring that the key tasks are completed in a timely manner. The project Officer will maintain working relationship with key external project stakeholders at Islamabad level. S/he will be responsible for Maintaining minutes of the meetings and will work with the project Manager to ensure timely reporting. S/he will travel to Quetta as needed.
