This position is accountable for working directly with business leaders to proactively address the "people" implications in current and future requirements of the business with the objective of increasing overall organizational capability, effectiveness, and individual performance.
This position will work with the Health Plan division.

Qualifications
Education
Minimum Education Requirements
Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Human Resources or related degree.
Preferred Education
Masters Degree Maters or professional degree (MBA or MA) in Human Resources or Organizational Development or related field.
Knowledge/Skills
Minimum Knowledge/Skills Requirements
Advanced demonstrated ability to influence others by persuasion, negotiation and problem solving. Demonstrated ability to counsel, teach and work with others at all levels. Superior communication skills (verbal, written, listening and presentation) and strong interpersonal skills. Demonstrated knowledge and experience in HR/OD consulting, leadership coaching, group process facilitation, presentation skills, training curriculum design and delivery, project management, labor relations, union contract administration, grievance management and employment law. Demonstrated ability to handle confidential and highly sensitive issues.
Advanced Ability to learn quickly and work effectively in an ambiguous and ever-changing environment. Ability to work independently with little or no direction. Ability to initiate and take strategic directives from executive leadership and provide leadership, consultation and delivery of key HR services.
Preferred Knowledge/Skills
Advanced MS Office Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint skills.
Experience
Minimum Experience Requirements
5 years HR or management experience.
10 or more years Experience in a large, complex organizational structure. Experience in developing written proposals, reports, policies, and project summaries and timelines.
5 years Strategic leadership experience.
Preferred Experience
HR experience in a unionized environment.
License/Certifications
Minimum License/Certifications Requirements

Preferred License/Certifications
At time of hire Senior Professional in Human Resources certification (SPHR).

- Use experience and working knowledge in above areas to provide proactive leadership, coaching and consultation in the development and implementation of key business and HR objectives that affect human capital management, improve organizational performance, and develop executive, managerial, and organizational capabilities.
- Provide a wide range of strategic HR consultative services to executive leaders, managers, and employees.
- Help establish the organizational culture and climate in which managers and employees prosper by influencing senior leaders, managers, workgroups, and individuals on a variety of work environment issues and strategies.
