Job Purpose:

Manage delivery of local Technology infrastructure services.
Own, operate, monitor and optimize the Technology Infrastructure and   reduce the total cost of ownership
 Lead the improvement of service cost and quality and drive a reduction in Total Cost of Ownership.
To lead the adoption of global standards, vendors and processes in line with migration to the agreed global architecture.

Key Deliverable:

Provide the resources, expertise, guidance and systems necessary in order to ensure delivery of one or more of the following local technology infrastructure services
o   T3 Data Center Management
o   Local Infrastructure and Technology Projects
o   Local Infrastructure and Technology Changes
o   Local Infrastructure Vendor Management
o   IT Asset Management.
Ensures staff use agreed global, standardised IT Service Management processes e.g. for Financial Management, Supplier Management, Service Design, IT Security.
Ensure effective evaluation of business risks and issues related to operational incidents, potential application changes and internal audit reports. Implement appropriate risk management processes and take appropriate and timely actions.
Local Business representatives, Area / Local IT management - to understand service requirements and the account plan and to manage transition to global service model.
IT Solutions development and IT Project Delivery – to support scoping and implementation of change projects.
Technology Services / Technology Architecture and IT Security   – to understand and support implementation of global technology architectures.
Service Architecture, Design & Transition and Service Integration – collaborate to ensure effective transition of services and process improvement.

Essential requirements

Bachelors Degree, 1-6 years post graduate work experience including the management of networks and/or technical infrastructure environment.
Experience in large global organisation using in-sourced and out-sourced IT services and a good working knowledge of the management of IT services.
Good knowledge of IT Service Management best practice (ITIL) in specific process areas.
