NEET 2022 is NOT getting postponed as states a fake notice circulated on the internet. The Press Information Bureau, PIB shared the picture of the fake notice under the NTA’s name and told students that NTA didn’t issue any notice. NEET UG 2022 will be conducted on July 17 as scheduled.

The Press Information Bureau, PIB shared the picture of the fake notice under the NTA’s name and told students that NTA didn’t issue any notice. NEET UG 2022 fake notice stated the undergraduate medical entrance exam will now be conducted on September 4, 2022.
PIB tweeted: “A notice is doing rounds on social media claiming that the National Testing Agency (NTA) has rescheduled the NEET (UG) for 4th September 2022 instead of 17th July 2022. #PIBFactCheck This notice is #Fake NTA has not issued any such notice.”
The fake notice is being circulated because of the increasing demands of the aspirants to postpone the exam. Medical aspirants are demanding to postpone NEET UG 2022 and their social media protest is getting widely popular.
NEET Aspirants are also writing applications to various authorities regarding their postponement demand. Recently, aspirants have written a letter to Union education minister Dharmendra Pradhan, seeking deferment of the medical entrance exam. NTA or any other authority has not yet responded to the demands of students.
Few aspirants shared the copy of letter sent to officials, students have demanded the NEET exam to be postponed by at least 6 weeks giving more preparation time to the students.
Candidates appearing for NEET 2022 are advised to follow and circulate the notices that are available on the official website– nta.ac.in. As per the NEET 2022 schedule, the undergraduate medical entrance test would be conducted on July 17 with the registration process concluded on May 20.
