Assam Higher Secondary 1st Year Online Admission - Assam Higher Secondary Education Council (AHSEC) has launched a platform called the “Darpan” basically an online web portal for Assam Higher Secondary Online Admission . The HS admission process is to be started from 7th June 2022. Students who have passed HSLC exam this year may apply online through this web portal for first year courses under Assam Higher Secondary Education Council for the academic session 2022-2023.

Assam Higher Secondary Education Council has developed a portal called DARPAN, through this portal the online admission process will be completed and students will be able to take admission in their desired AHSEC affiliated schools in Assam. HS 1st year admission process will be completely online and no student need to physically go to their school for any work.

HS 1st Year Admission Fee Details

As per the official notification, the Assam Higher Secondary 1st year admission fee was waived off by the Assam government and all students will able to get admissions at government recognized institutions at zero fee. Assam HS 1st year online admission will be free of cost and all eligible students will not have to pay any fee to get admission.

The Assam Higher Secondary Education Council has set up two types of helplines to deal with issues and assist students during the online admission process. How to Complete HS 1st Year Admission Process?

Students who fulfil all the required eligibility criteria to get admission in AHSEC HS 1st year are able to submit their online applications on the official portal of AHSEC. Also, a video guide and some steps to apply online are given below, students can refer them as reference to complete their admission process.

  • Scroll down, check Important Link‘s section.
  • Click on HS 1st Year Merit List link.
  • A portal will load, click on Register a new Account link.
  • On the next one, you need to choose the college, course type and other details you want.
  • Upload scan copy of photograph, marksheet and other necessary documents.
  • After filling and verifying all the details, you have to click on submit button.
  • After submitting the application, keep the system generated acknowledgment for future use.

Check the portal regularly for updates. You will be informed through the portal which institute (s) you have been selected for admission.

Documents Required

Students must keep the following listed documents ready in JPG, JPEG or PNG file format before proceeding for the online application. Also, the size of the file should be maximum 1 MB.

  1. Recent Passport Size Photograph.
  2. 10th Marksheet (Digital).
  3. Caste Certificate (If Applicable).
  4. Disability Certificate (If Applicable).
  5. TGL or Ex-TGL Certificate (If Applicable).
  6. Gap Certificate (If Applicable).

How to Edit Submitted Application?

Students who have submitted their applications and after that they found errors in their application can edit their application details within the portal without panic. Students are advised to follow the steps listed below to edit their application.

  • Scroll above, check Important Link‘s section.
  • Click on HS 1st Year Admission link.
  • Login using your Mobile Number, Date of Birth and 4 Digit PIN.
  • Click on the Profile option on the left.
  • Now, all your registration details will be loaded.
  • Click on the red Edit Profile option.
  • Refill all the correct details of the registration form including photograph and marksheet.
  • After that submit that form by clicking on RESUBMIT PROFILE button.
  • That’s it, your profile has been successfully corrected.
