Assam Direct Recruitment 2022
Assam Direct Recruitment 2022. - The Government of Assam has constituted a commission called Assam Direct Recruitment Commission to carry out the recruitment process of Group C and Group D posts of various departments. This commission has been formed to fulfil the guarantee of 1 lakh jobs provided by the current Chief Minister of Assam. The commission will accept common applications for similar types of posts in different departments. Also, the selection process will be same and candidates will have to appear for only one exam for all the departments and merit list will be prepared on the basis of their performance in that exam.

Maximum Qualification: The maximum educational qualification for Class-IV posts is HSSLC or class 12th or equivalent. Candidates having qualification higher than maximum qualification are not eligible to apply online.

Name of Posts: Accountant, Cashier, Junior Assistant, LDA, Stenographer, etc.

Educational Qualifications: Candidates who have passed Bachelor’s Degree with Computer Certificate/ Diploma of minimum 6 months duration can apply online for these posts.
Grade-III (Category-II)
Name of Posts: Field Assistant, Fieldman, Foreman, Section Assistant, Soil Conservation Field Worker Junior, Agriculture Extension Officer, etc.
No of Posts: 3,690 Posts
Educational Qualifications: Candidates who have passed HSSLC or class 12th or equivalent can apply online for these posts. (For some posts, candidates should be class 12th passed from science stream.)
Grade-III (Category-III)
Name of Posts: Driver

Application Fee
Post wise application fee is different. Candidates have to pay the application fee as applicable for their category of posts. The application fee can be paid through online mode of payment. The applicable application fee details will be as follows.

Selection Process of Assam Direct Recruitment
The commission will conduct separate examination to select the candidates for different types of posts. The examinations shall be held separately on different dates as follows so as to enable higher degree holders to appear in more than one examination. Bachelor’s Degree Level
The commission will conduct separate examination as per the following eligibility qualifications for the posts.
- Bachelor’s Degree.
- Bachelor’s Degree with Computer Skill.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Science.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce.
- Bachelor’s Degree with Economics/ Statistics/ Mathematics.
Stage 1 (Written Exam)
Candidates submitting applications for graduate level posts will have to take a written test. The structure of the written examination will be as follows.

Mode of Exam: Offline
Type of Questions: Objective Multiple Choice Type Questions (MCQs)

- Higher Secondary of Equivalent Examination Passed.

Merit List
On the basis of the marks obtained in the written examination a list of all candidates shall be prepared in order of merit. The commission shall determine minimum qualifying marks for computer test/ other test/ practical test. Candidates securing less than the qualifying marks in the computer test/ other test/ practical test shall not be eligible for selection.
