16th March,2020: Pakistan reported on Monday 50 more confirmed case of the coronavirus as the total number of cases reaches to 94.
The corona virus patients have almost doubled in a day.This is so far an exponential increase in the patients in the country.
In a tweet, Senator Murtaza Wahab announced that 50 people who had arrived in Sukkur from Taftaan have tested positive. He further said the total number of cases in Sindh have reached 76.Of these new positive cases, 25 are from Karachi, one is from Hyderabad and 50 are from Taftan, Iran. Two people have recovered and 74 are under treatment, Wahab added.

Meanwhile, Special Assistant to the Prime Minister on Health , Dr Zafar Mirza chaired a meeting of emergency core group in Islamabad on Monday. During the meeting, he said Pakistan is fully prepared to cope with the challenge of coronavirus and a national action plan is being implemented with complete national solidarity.More results have come in.
