HBL PSL V, Match 17: Islamabad United beat Lahore Qalandars by 71 runs
Lahore Qalandars won the toss and decided to bowl first.
Batting first Islamabad United openers played beautifully and posted 103 first wicket partnership.Both the openers scored brilliant fifties. Other batsmen also added good to the total as the pitch was batting friendly. In 20 overs, Islamabad posted 198 for the loss of just 3 wickets.
In the reply, Lahore Qalandars lost the first wicket on the very first over of the inning. The pressure became more and more and wickets were kept falling. In the end, Lahore managed to score just 127 runs and lost the match by 71 runs.
