PSL V 2020, Match 8 :Multan Sultans beat Peshawar Zalmi by 6 wickets
The 7th match of the tournament was played between Multan Sultans and Peshawar Zalmi in Multan. This was the first match of PSL ever played in Multan.
Multan Sultans won the toss and decided to bowl first. Their decision was quite right, as they bowled out Peshawar Zalmi only for 123. No batsman could perform well. Emerging cricketer Haider Ali was the top scorer, with 47 runs of 27 runs. All bowlers from Multan Sultans bowled very well, Sohail Tanvir was the star bowler taking 4 wickets for 13 runs.
It was a easy chase for Multan Sultans. But, Multan Sultans lost their 4 early wickets. The partnership between R. Rossouw and Khusdil Shah turned the tables. Rossouw scored 49 of 42 balls.
