HBL PSL V Match 5: Islamabad United beat Multan Sultans by 8 wickets
Islamabad United Captain Shadab Khan won the toss and decided to bowl first.
Batting first Multan Sultans batsmen found it difficult to score big during the first power-play. After the power-play Shaan Masood and Vince got some runs. Vince made 42 runs in the innings for Multan. Multan Sultans posted a total of 164-8 after 20 overs thanks to Zeeshan Ashraf for his brilliant 50 of just 29 balls.
In the reply, Islamabad openers made the run chase look very easy with their power hitting performances. Both made the quick fifties. Luke Ronchi made 74 runs and Munro made 50 runs that help Islamabad side to take the victory easily with 8 wickets in hand.
For the brilliant performance Luke Ronchi was given the Player of the Match Award.
