Govt reduces prices of petrol, diesel by Rs5 per litre ISLAMABAD: In a bid “to provide relief to the consumers”, the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) government has reduced the prices of petroleum products for the month of March.
“The government has decided to decrease the prices of petroleum products to provide relief to the consumers,” read a notification issued by the Finance Division on Saturday. “The government is committed to extend relief to the public whenever fiscal space becomes available,” it added.
Prices of petrol and diesel are slashed by Rs5 per litre while kerosene and light diesel become cheaper by Rs7 each
