Punjab Teachers Upgradation Notification 2017 Issued by Secretary School Education Department

Notification No. S.O(SE-III)5-11/2016 is issued by Secretary School Education Government of the Punjab School Education Department dated 25-09-2017 regarding up-gradation of Punjab Teachers (PSTs, ESTs and SSTs)
Governor of the Punjab has been pleased to approve the following in relaxation of ban on up-gradation of posts:-

Primary school teachers BS-09 are upgraded from BS-09 to BS-14.
Elementary school teachers BS-14 are also upgraded from BS-14 to BS-15. Those already working in BS-15(personal) are upgraded to BS-16(personal) while those working in BS-16(personal) are granted two annual increments in the relevant pay scales
Secondary school teachers are awarded two annual increments in the relevant pay scales.
The uplift and upward mobility package already awarded vide notification No. SO(SE-III)2-16/2007 dated 24-09-2007, 06-11-2009 and 15-02-2013 shall stand discontinued w.e.f 01-01-2018.
This upgradation /grant of increments will be effective from 1st January 2018.
