Notification No. FD.PC.19-1/89-P-II(1153-09) is issued by Government of the Punjab Finance Department dated 18-09-2017 about approval of upgradation of Punjab Teachers.

Approval Notification of Finance Department Regarding Upgradation of Punjab Teachers in Public Schools

Subject: Upgradation of Primary school teachers BS-09, Elementary school teachers BS-14 and Secondary school teachers BS-16.
Will the section officer SE-III, Government of the Punjab  school education department kindly refer to his letter No. SO(SE-III)5-11/2017 dated 28-08-2017 on the subject noted above.
Finance Department in pursuance of approval of competent authority in relaxation of ban on upgradation of posts conveys its concurrence to the following,

1. Primary school teachers BS-09 are upgraded from BS-09 to BS-14.
2. Elementary school teachers BS-14 are also upgraded from BS-14 to BS-15. Those already working in BS-15(personal) are upgraded to BS-16(personal) while those working in BS-16(personal) are granted two annual increments in the relevant pay scales
3. Secondary school teachers are awarded two annual increments in the relevant pay scales.
4. The uplift and upward mobility package already awarded vide notification No. SO(SE-III)2-16/2007 dated 24-09-2007, 06-11-2009 and 15-02-2013 shall stand discontinued w.e.f 01-01-2018.
5. This upgradation /grant of increments will be effective from 1st January 2018.
