Corollary: परिणाम 

A direct or natural consequence or result; effect
Example: Blind jealousy is a frequent corollary of passionate love.

Lax: लापरवाह/शिथिल 

Not sufficiently strict, severe, or careful; loose, lax, spun, dormant, faint, tired
Example: Not that the Aayog has been lax about initiating proposals and schemes.

Traction: कर्षण 

The action of drawing or pulling something over a surface, especially a road or track; drag, dragging, draught, haulage, pull
Example: A primitive vehicle used in animal traction.

Imprimatur: अनुमति

Permission, permit, assent, allowance, favor
Example: Unless a policy recommendation carries the explicit imprimatur of the Prime Minister, it is not taken with the seriousness.

Explicit: स्पष्ट 

Stated clearly and in detail, leaving no room for confusion or doubt; direct, obvious

Articulate: साफ़ बोलना 

Having or showing the ability to speak fluently and coherently; eloquent, fluent, persuasive, vivid
Example: The Niti Aayog, through its regular monitoring of projects in key areas, becomes a platform for articulating what some would call competitive federalism, besides for the monitoring of key projects.

Futile: व्यर्थ 

Incapable of producing any useful result; pointless, fruitless, vain, useless
Example: He made a futile attempt to cross the border.

Germane: संबन्धित 

Relevant to a subject under consideration; pertinent, applicable, apposite, material
Example: His comments were not germane to the main discussion.

Espouse: सहारा देना/ समर्थन करना 

Adopt or support (a cause, belief, or way of life); embrace, accept
Example: It’s better to espouse Elizabeth Taylor’s wisdom rather than court boredom.

Gravitas: गंभीरता 

Dignity, seriousness, or solemnity of manner; seriousness
Example: A post for which he has the expertise and the gravitas.

Chuckle: दबी हँसी हँसना 

Laugh quietly or inwardly; chortle, giggle
Example: She chuckled while reading the witty story.

Cheeky: गुस्ताख़ 

Showing a lack of respect or politeness in a way that is amusing or appealing; perky, impudent, pert, saucy, petulant
Example: A cheeky quote to lighten up a long hearing.

Conjecture: अनुमान लगाना 

An opinion or conclusion formed on the basis of incomplete information; speculation, guess
Example: Sometimes weather conjectures become true.

Slouch: कामचोर/ अक्षम 

Doodle, slacker, slug, dangler, quitter
Example: My brother was no slouch at making a buck.

Bon mot: अच्छा शब्द 

A witty remark; A clever remark; witticism, quip, pun
Example: You are full of jokes and bon mots.

Repartee: शीघ्र चातुर्य पूर्ण उत्तर 

Conversation or speech characterized by quick, witty comments or replies; banter
Example: Her list of bon mots could also prove very handy for anyone in need of a quick repartee.

Palpable: छूने योग्य 

able to be touched or felt; tangible, touchable
Example: This cloth is palpable.

Brim: भरा हुआ होना 

Be full of a particular quality, feeling, etc.
Example: He is brimming with ideas.

Vanguard: आन्दोलन का नेतृत्व करने वाला 

Person leading the way in new developments or ideas
Example: Bhagat Singh was the vanguard of the movement.

Pertinence: प्रासंगिकता 

The fact of being directly related to, and important, for the subject being considered
Example: This point has particular pertinence to the topic we are discussing.
