How to play rummy?
Rummy is a popular card game of draws and discards.
The objective is to arrange the cards in valid sequences and/or sets.
Draw: The player can draw a card from either closed or open deck.
Discard: The player can discard one of the cards to the open deck.
The player who first gets rid of all his cards wins the game.
How to play Indian rummy?
Indian Rummy is played between 2 to 6 players.
Two decks (104 cards + 4 jokers) are used for 2 to 3 players.
Three decks (156 cards + 6 jokers) are used for 4 to 6 players.
Each player is dealt 13 cards.
The object of the game is to form Runs (or sequences) and Sets.
There has to be at least one Pure Sequence.
The remaining cards can be arranged in valid sequences and/or sets.
How to set rummy cards?
To play easy and errorless, set the cards in alternate colour groups.
Eg – Arrange Spades followed by Diamond followed by Clubs followed by Heart, which is Black-Red-Black-Red.
