Applications are invited from suitable candidates (Pakistani National) for the following
VACANT POSITIONS on regular basis in the Pakistan National Accreditation Council (PNAC), a sub-ordinate office of the Ministry of Science and Technology on prescribed format given below:
1. Deputy Director General

Qualification & Experience Required
a. Ph.D / M.S. / B.E in any of the engineering subjects OR Ph.D/M.Phil/ Quota Merit (BPS-20) M.Sc. in any of the Physical Sciences (Applied Chemistry I Physics).
b. 13 years' experience in case of Ph.D,15 years' experience in case of M.S. Engineering / M. Phil and 17 years' experience in case of M.Sc./ B.E in the field of quality planning, management, assessment and accreditation of certification bodies / laboratories.
2. Director (Engineering Calibration Labs) (BPS-19)
45 years
a. Ph.D / M.S / M.Sc / WE in any of the Engineering subjects or Ph.D / M.Phil / M.Sc. in any of Physical sciences (Applied Chemistry I Physics).
b. 8 years' experience In case of Ph.D, 10 years' experience in case of M. Phil and 12 years' experience in case of M.Sc. / WE preferably in The field of quality planning, management, and assessment of laboratories.
c. Person having experience in the field of quality planning, management, assessment and accreditation of certification bodies/ laboratories; registered as certified lead auditor in a managerial position will be preferred.
3. Director (Engineering Calibration Labs) (BPS-19)
Merit Director (Industrial Labs) (RS-19) 01 45 years
a. Ph.D I M.S / M.Sc / B.E in any of the Engineering subjects or Ph.D / M.Phil / M.Sc. in any 01 Physical sciences (Applied Chemistry / Physics).
b. 8 years' experience in case of Ph.D, 10 years' experience in case of M. Phil and 12 years' experience in case of M.Sc. / B.E preferably in the field of quality planning, management, and assessment of laboratories.
c. Person having experience in the field of quality planning, management, assessment and accreditation of certification bodies / laboratories; registered as certified lead auditor in a managerial position will be preferred.
4. Deputy Director 01
40 years
a. Ph.D / M.S / B.E in any of the engineering subjects or Ph.D / M.Phil / Merit (Engineering Calibration Labs) M.Sc. in any of the Physical Sciences (Applied Chemistry / Physics )
b. One year experience in case of Ph.D, 3 years experience in case of (BPS-18) M.Sc. Engineering / M.Phil and 5 years experience in case of M.Sc/ B.E in the field of quality planning, management, assessment and accreditation of certification bodies / laboratories.
c. Persons having successfully qualified the lab management or lab assessors course on ISO 17025 and worked for implementation of ISO 17025 in a Lab will have an added advantage.

3. Degrees must be obtained from HEC recognized institutions.
