Notification No. FS(SR-III)3-230/2013(Provl) is issued by Government of Sindh Finance Department dated 13-07-2017 regarding Increase Pension 2017 for the Civil Sindh Government Pensioners.
Subject of this office memorandum is grant of increase in pension to the civil pensioners of the government of Sindh.
Sindh Government has been pleased to sanction Increase Pension 2017 for the Civil Sindh Government Pensioners @ 15% w.e.f 01-07-2017 until further orders.
The 15% Increase Pension 2017 shall be discontinued for those who would retire on or after 01-07-2017.
However 15% increase pension 2017 as allowed vide Finance department order dated 12-07-2011, 10% increase pension 2017 as allowed vide Finance department order dated 01-09-2015, 10% increase pension 2017 as allowed vide Finance department order dated 04-08-2016 shall be admissible to the new pensioners who would retire on or after 01-07-2017.
If the gross pension sanctioned by the Sindh Government is shared with any government in accordance with the rules laid down in para-IV of Appendix III to the accounts code volume I the amount of increase in pension 2017 will be appointed between the Sindh Government and other Government concerned on proportionate basis.
The increase pension 2017 sanctioned in this OM will not be admissible on special additional pension allowed in lieu of pre-retirement orderly allowance and monetized value of a driver or an orderly.
The benefit of increase pension 2017 sanctioned in this OM will also be admissible to those civil pensioners of the Sindh Government who are residing abroad other than those residing in India and Bangladesh who retired on or after 15-08-1947.
They are not entitled to or are not in receipt of increase pension 2017 under the British government pension Acts. The payment will be made at the applicable rate of exchange.
