Punjab School Education Department has announced that teachers of related subject and school heads will be held accountable on lower than 33% passing rate of students in the SSC annual result 2017.

Punjab Government has decided to punish the teachers and school heads on examination poor matric result.  Teachers and school heads were responsible in previous matric result 2016, grade 5 and grade 8 results. Teachers and school heads will be punished on poor matric result 2017 this year.
It is also said that responsible teachers and school heads will be dealt-with strictly. In the punishment of teachers, they may face deduction in increments for two years  or suspension of service for some time. Detail of all those school heads and teachers will be collected from each district education department.

3. BISE SARGODHA
4. BISE RAWALPINDI
5. BISE SAHIWAL
6. BISE FAISALABAD
7. BISE DG KHAN
8. BISE GUJRANWALA
9. BISE BAHAWALPUR

These all above nine boards of intermediate and secondary education are working in Punjab province. One day before of matric result 2017, all these nine boards will organize prize distribution ceremony for top position holders in 9th class result 2017 and 10th class result 2017. It is done each year to motivate the students for better future. Scholarships are given to all these top position holders students of these boards. Federal, KPK and Sindh boards have announced matric result 2017 earlier.
