Subject: Recruitment of Educators and AEOs
Chief Minister school reform roadmap inter-alia stipulates to provide at least four teachers in every stand alone primary school in order to fulfill the obligation and to fill other vacant posts, the recruitment process for various categories of Educators and SSE (AEOs) was commenced in october/ November 2016 in all districts of Punjab.
This department in accordance with the decision taken by the committee constituted by the chief minister, hired a firm (M/s Riaz and company for third party validation of the recruitment process before issuing final orders on the basis of 20% sample checking in each category that is BPS-09, 14 and 16.
This recruitment process is being steered by the district recruitment committee DRC and Deputy commissioners/ other members of DRC are responsible for completion of the process in a transparent manner and on 100% merit.
This step is inline with the vision of chief minister for recruitment of quality teachers strictly on merit as per provisions of recruitment policy 2016-2017. Findings of TPV based on 20% sample has been shared with all CEOs / DRCs. Keeping in view difference, irregularities and inadequacies pointed out in these reports common observations raised by TPV firm are enclosed, you are directed to analyze your data 100% entries of data and recruitment record. After your personal /DRC satisfaction being the recruitment authority issue letters of appointment /agreement to the education of all grades selected.
In case of any mistake, irregularity and inadequacy comlpete responsibility will be on DRcs and the appointing authority. The process of recruitment shall on completed in all respects by 31st July 2017 and subsequently teacher training must be started of the successful and eligible candidates in coordination with Quaid-e-Azam Academy of education development (QAED).
