Grant of Financial Assistance Package Notification in the cases of Deaths of Government Servants at the Station of Duty

Subject: Grant of Financial Assistance by Government in the cases of Deaths of Government Servants at the Station of Duty.
It is directed to refer to this division No. F.2(12)R-9/73-917 dated 20-08-1973 as amended from time to time on the above subject and to say that the following further amendments are made herein with effect from 01-07-2017.
(i) Cases in which the dead body of the deceased government servant in BPS-1 to BPS-15 is buried locally.
The maximum limit for reimbursement of the amount for local burial is raised from Rs.5000 to Rs. 15000.
(ii) Charges of crating wooden box:The existing maximum rate is raised from Rs. 1600 to Rs. 4800.
