National Bank of Pakistan is a leading and one of the largest bank of the country with global market presence and branches in all parts of the country. NBP invites applications from young and energetic individuals for the following positions on three-year contract (renewable based on performance). The individuals who fulfill the following eligibility criteria may apply:
1) TRAINEE OFFICERS (0G-11) (300- positions- Pan Pakistan)
Qualification Master's or equivalent degree from the university/institute recognized by the HEC (with at least 60% marks OR minimum CGPA 3.0) Age Maximum 30 years (As on last date for submission of CVs/Applications i.e. the cutoff date of the advertisement). 2 years age relaxation for the local domicile holders of FATA/AJK/GB and remote areas of Balochistan
2) GENERAL BANKING OFFICERS (0G-111) (300- positions- Pan Pakistan)
Qualification Graduation or equivalent degree from the university/institute recognized by the HEC (with at least 60% marks OR minimum CGPA 3.0) Age Maximum 28 years (As on last date for submission of CVs/Applications i.e. the cutoff date of the advertisement). 3 years age relaxation for the local domicile holders of FATA/AJK/GB and remote areas of Balochistan.
3) CASH/BANKING OFFICERS (0G-111) (500- positions- Pan Pakistan)
Qualification Graduation or equivalent degree from the university/institute recognized by the HEC (with at least 50% marks or minimum CGPA 2.5) Experience Minimum 02 years Banking experience. Cash counter experience will be given an added advantage at specific areas. Age Maximum 35 Years (As on last date for submission of CVs/Applications i.e. the cutoff date of the advertisement). 3 years age relaxation for the local domicile holders of FATA/AJK/GB and remote areas of Balochistan.
4) AGRICULTURE FIELD OFFICERS (AFOs) (0G-111) (150-Positions)
Qualification Minimum Graduation (in Agriculture) or equivalent qualification in Agriculture Discipline from the University/Institute recognized by HEC (with at least 60% marks or minimum CGPA 3.0) Experience Minimum 02 years Banking experience Age Maximum 35 Years (As on last date for submission of CVs/Applications i.e. the cutoff date of the advertisement). Three years Age relaxation for the candidates from FATA/AJK/GB and remote areas of Balochistan. Placement Region Faisalabad, Sargodha, Sialkot, Multan, Mardan, Muzaffarabad, Jhelum, Gujranwala, Gujrat, Mirpur (AK), Gilgit, Hyderabad, Larkana, Sukkur
How to apply:
• The candidates meeting the above eligibility criteria are required to register themselves with Institute of Bankers Pakistan (IBP) for appearing in the written test "Online Application form" and "online IBP's deposit slip" is available at NBP's website i.e. www.nbp.com.pk. Application submitted in person will not be entertained. Application sent directly to NBP in contravention to the prescribed procedure will not be entertained in any case
• Click on "Online Application Form". Read the instructions carefully and register yourself by clicking on "Register" and fill the Online Application form • Take the print out of "Online Application Form" along with fee "deposit slip"
• Deposit test fee of Rs. 399/- for IBP testing service through IBP deposit slip at any branch of ABL/HBL
• Prescribed IBP deposit slip duly paid in any of respective banks of ABL/HBL is mandatory to be attached with the printed online application form
• Send Application Form along with original IBP copy of deposit slip, detailed CV, copy of CNIC and 03 passport size photographs to Head, Examination Department, Institute of Bankers Pakistan, Moulvi Tamizuddin Khan Road, Karachi not later than the cutoff date of this advertisement. In case of any query please contact IBP call center officer on 021-111-427-477 IBP/NBP will not be responsible for late receipt of application sent through post
• Shortlisted candidates based on eligibility criteria shall be sent admit cards by IBP at their postal addresses to appear in the written test to be held at designated test centers of IBP
• NBP/IBP will upload the test results at their respective websites. The test results will also be sent to candidates at their postal addresses
Selection & Placement:
• The candidates who qualify the test and the Panel Interview will be offered a three-years contract (renewable based on performance) at NBP
• Selected Candidates will be placed all over Pakistan based on the requirement (except AFOs as specified placement regions are already mentioned). It is pre-condition of employment that they will be required to serve at the initial place of posting for minimum three years. Preference will be given to local domicile holders with permanent resident of the area of place of posting.
• NBP reserves the right to reject or accept any applicant's suitability to meet the vacant position. Interested/Eligible candidates may submit their applications available at NBP's Website www.nbp.com.pk not later than 15 days from the date of publication of advertisement. Application after due date will not be considered. No TA/DA will be admissible for test/Interview.
