A Public Sector organization is searching for potential Candidates who have the following Qualification and experience for its foreign funded projects for following Peshawar based Positions.
Candidates will be shortlisted according to the qualification criteria. Only short listed candidates will be called for interview. Consultant will be selected in accordance with the procedures set out in section V of the World Bank’s Guidelines: Selection and Employment of consultants by World Bank Borrowers.

Available Positions:
 

Competitive Sector Specialist (01 Position). 
Qualification:
  • Project management skills to lead the project implementation and overall coordination between project stakeholders.
  • Past experience of interacting with government Officials, development partners and private sector representatives and their associations.
  • Familiarity with regulations regarding tourism, Agribusiness enterprises, and SME’s sectors would be and added advantage.
  • Strong written oral communications skills.
  • Ability to work independently on multiple tasks and willingness to travel extensively to the project sites.
Education and Experience:
  • Master Degree from a reputable University.
  • At least 10 years experience in the development sector with 3 years proven experience in competitive sector with National / International level Organization / Donor funded projects.
  • Working Experience of MDTF/World Bank Public sector, development Projects in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa will be given extra weight age. 

SME Officer (01 Position).
Qualification: 

  • Analytical skills necessary to identify SMEs eligible for grants based on pre-determent criteria.
  • Demonstrated strong financial, technical and management skills are mandatory as are strong written and oral communicational skills.
  • Strong Network and liaison with private sector of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Education and / OR Experience:
  • Master degree in management, public administration, Business Administration, Economics or a related discipline from reputable University.
  • At least 7 years experience in economic development project with 2 years specifically in SME’s development program. Strong understanding of issues relating to economic development and SME’s including the ability to present ideas clearly and concisely.
  • Working experience of MDTF / World Ban Public sector, development project in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa will be given extra weight age. 
  • Solid understanding of issues in the field of SME’s and needs of the people in context of post rises environment. 
  • Proven ability to work n a collaborative, team environment.
