Notification of Public Holidays in Pakistan 2017 School Education Department Punjab
In the pursuance of the provisions contained in Article 37 & 41 of the Punjab Education code and Notification No. SOW-S&GAD-1-3/2008(P-II) dated 25-01-2017 issued by the section officer (welfare-I) s&gad the following Public holidays in Pakistan 2017 schedule would be observed in all the special schools/ Educational institutions (Government/ Privately managed) in Punjab Province during calendar year 2017.
- Summer Vacations 25th May to 14th August 2017
- Eid-ul-Fitr 27 & 28th June 2017
- Short Summer break for hilly areas 15th July to 29th July 2017
- Independence Day 14th August 2017
- Eid-Ul-Azha 1st, 2nd & 3rd September
- Ashura (9th & 10th Moharam) 30th September & 1st October 2017
- Eid Miladun Nabi 1st December
- Quaid-e-Azam Day 25th December
- Day After Christmas 26th December
- Winter Vacations 24th December to 31st December
- Winter Break for Hilly Areas 20th December to 4th March 2018
