Facebook is finally announcing a VR app from the company that allows its users to hang out in a virtual space and browse through the various memories you have with your friends in your timeline. The app from Facebook is called the Facebook Spaces where you can browse through your virtual timeline.
You can create your virtual avatar by simply selecting or importing a photo from your Facebook account, the app will create a toonish facsimile out of our photo. It will even allow you to do any further customizations if any needed.
You can invite your friends to join you. You can create artworks, play games, listen to music and watch 360-degree videos using VR.
As everyone doesn’t have a VR headset just now, the people who don’t have a VR gear can interact using the Facebook Messenger’s video calling feature and they appear in 2D images there. And those who have a VR will appear in a virtual avatar.
Facebook Spaces beta has been launched for the Oculus Rift and if you also wish to have this experience let us have to wait for the official VR app to release and then you can have a tour in the virtual timeline.
