Appointment of Double Examiners in Practical SSC Annual Exam 2017 all Boards BISE Punjab
Subject: MODALITIES REGARDING APPOINTMENT OF DOUBLE EXAMINERS IN PRACTICAL EXAMINATIONS AND EVALUATION THERE OF AND SOPs
In Compliance of the letter No.557-SY/PBCC/LHR DATED 07-03-2017 and LETTER NO. 588-SY/PBCC/LHR , dated 20-03-2017 duly approved by PBCC Lahore in its meeting held on 17-03-2017 vide item no. 01 the following SOPs are duly devised while appointing the practical examiners.
I: Both the Examiners will have equal weightage for awarding marks.In case of difference of opinion between the examiners, the average of the awarded marks will be given.For example, one examiner awards 5 marks out of 5 and other awards 3 out of 5, the examinee will secure 4 marks out of 5.
2: Both the Examiners will affix their signature on practical answer book & Award sheet.
3: Practical examiners will not be appointed at the centresnwhere their own students are appearing for examination
4: Preferences will be given to public sector institution However, in case of shortage examiners can be engaged from private affiliated institutions also The criteria of of the practical examiners will be as under
· Master Degree holders in practical subjects
· Practical science teachers of BS-14 and above.
· Retired teachers of the practical subjects can be said.
5: College teachers should be on standby as a last resort for practical duly in ssc practical examinations. 6: Practical Answer Books after marking should be submitted to the board directly and Head Examiner shall evaluate the marked practical Answer Books as per previous practice in the board office.
