Notification of Increase in Women Quota 5% to 15% for Recruitment of Women under Sindh Govt Jobs
It is directed to refer to the subject noted above and to state that it has been decided by the Government of Sindh to increase /enhance the women quota in all the Sindh Govt jobs to be filled in by initial appointment from 5% to 15% with immediate effect.The reservation shall, however, not apply to:
1. Recruitment made by promotion or transfer in accordance with the rekevant rules.
2. Short term vacancies likely to last for less than six months.
3. Isolated posts in which vacancies occur only occasionally.
4. Services in which seperate female cadres already exist.
For Sindh Govt jobs, recruitment will be started as 15% quota of women.
It is requested to kindly bring the above instructions to the notice of all concerned under your administrative control and ensure the compliance while making future recruitment.
