Credit of Pay & Pension for the Employees of Government of the Punjab for the month of March 2017

It is submitted to the accountant General Punjab Lahore and all district accounts officers in the Punjab/treasury officer-I Lahore.
Subject: Credit of Pay & Pension of Government employees/ Pensioners of Government of the Punjab for the month of March 2017 to their respective bank accounts on 30th March 2017 and disbursement on 31st March 2017.
In the wake of 1st April 2017 (Saturday) & 2nd April 2017 (Sunday) being Gazetted holidays, Governor of the Punjab is pleased to approve that pay & pension of Government employees/ Pensioners of Government of the Punjab may be credited to their respective bank accounts on 30th March 2017 and the same may be disbursed on 31st March 2017 positively as provided in Note 1 below Rule & 1(2) (a), Punjab Financial Rules Vol-I.
You are requested to take further necessary action accordingly for credit & disbursement of pay & pension on 30th and 31st March 2017 respectively.
