Notification GPF Rates for Govt Employees Finance Department Punjab
In exercise of the powers conferred under section 23 of the Punjab civil servants act 1974 (VIII) of 1974), Governor of the Punjab is pleased to direct that in the Punjab General Provident Fund GPF Rules 1978, the following amendments shall be made.
Amendment:
In the said rules, in rule 1, 10, for sub rule(1) the following shall be substituted(1) the subscriber shall pay monthly subscription according to the basic pay scale mentioned in column 1 of the table at the rate fixed in column 2 thereof.

The deductions on the basis of the rates mentioned above shall be made with immediate effect.
The subscription shall not be suspended or postponed during training or leave except in the case of extra ordinary leave without pay.
