Cricketer Shahid Afridi on Sunday said that it does not matter to him if he gets a farewell or not, adding that he would still meet Najam Sethi over the matter.
The veteran cricketer was addressing a press conference at Karachi where he said that the amount of love he has received from public suffices him.
While responding to a question, Afridi mocked legendary Pakistani cricketer and former coach Javed Miandad saying ‘he always faced money issues’.
“That’s the difference between Imran Khan and Javed Miandad,” said Shahid Afridi.
Afridi, a veteran of 98 T20Is, had last year announced retirement from ODIs.
Afridi had recently said he wanted to retire on a high note but had never requested PCB to give him a farewell series before retiring from the game.
