In continuation of Consolidated Advertisement No.39/2015 published in the dailies “Jang” & “The Nation” on 01-11-2015 vide Sr. No.237 (Case No.274-RA/2015) for recruitment to 161 (including 05 posts reserved for Disabled Persons, 08 posts reserved for minority persons and 24 posts reserved for Women) posts of Land Record Officer (BS-16) on 03 Years Contract Basis, in the Board of Revenue Punjab, Punjab Public Service Commission announces that the Qualification & Quotas reserved for the posts of Land Record Officer (BS-16) may be read as under instead of qualification and posts reserved against Quotas already advertised in the press:-
QUALIFICATION:
i. Bachelor’s degree (second division) in Computer Science, Information Technology or Business Administration from a University recognized by Higher Education Commission; OR
ii. LLB (second division) from a University recognized by Higher Education Commission; OR
iii. Bachelor’s degree (second division) with Economics, Mathematics, or Statistics, (as an elective subject) from a University recognized by Higher Education Commission and having knowledge of computer.

Ministerial Staff 16 Amongst Private Secretaries, Superintendents, Personal Assistants, Assistants, Stenographers, Senior Scale Stenographers, Head Vernacular Clerks, Inspector of Stamps, Revenue Auditors, Colony Auditors, Senior Clerks & Junior Clerks having three years service in the Board of Revenue.
AGE LIMIT: 21 to 28 + 5 Years = 33 Years for Male Candidates and 21 to 28 + 8 Years = 36 Years for Female Candidates across the board. General relaxation in upper age limit
as per Government of the Punjab S&GAD circular letter No. SOR (S&GAD) 9-36/81 dated 21-05-2012 as on 10-10-2016.
SYLLABUS FOR WRITTEN TEST IF HELD: Candidates will be required to undergo Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ) Written Test of 100 Marks of 90 Minutes Duration. Syllabus is as under:-
“General ability which includes Pakistan Studies, Current Affairs, Geography, General Knowledge, Everyday Science, Basic Mathematics, English, Urdu, Islamiat and Computer Studies.”

1 Candidates who have already applied and possess above said requisite Qualifications need not to apply again. Their age will be calculated on the closing date of earlier advertisement No. 39/2015, Sr. No. 237 (Case No. 274-RA/2015)
