Finally Pakistan cycling team enrolled in world championship



LAHORE: For the first run through in the cycling history of the nation, Pakistan cycling group will participate in the UCI World Road Cycling Championship, being held from October 12 in Doha.

The group contains two riders, Mushin Khan (SSGC) and Hafiz Tahir Mahmood (Wapda), said a representative for the Pakistan Cycling Federation on Monday. Nisar Ahmad is the director of the group.

"Both the cyclists will take an interest in individual time trial, The best cyclists have been chosen through open individual trials at Islamabad. It is trusted that the group will demonstrate their best execution in the chief cycling occasion."
He said that it is a significant privilege for the nation that Pak group is taking part in the big showdown.


The PCB representative said that PCF National Coach Sardar Nazakat Ali and National Cyclist Fiza Riaz will land back home on October 16 subsequent to finishing 40 days preparing of Level Coaching at World Cycling Training Camp at Seoul, South Korea, sorted out by Korean Cycling Federation and Union Cyclists International.
