According to Bollywood, Pakistan is a place where every man has long beard and every women on road wears a TENT over her head and if at home, she is covered in bright glossy dresses with “Kajal Bhari Aankhain” and a “Paranda” in hairs. All these things make me laugh and my reaction is like “seriously? Are they mad or trying to pretend innocent?” Poor lads, they should conduct little research about Pakistan and its culture. Today, I am going to point out few fumbles or misconceptions that Indians have about Pakistan.
1) Adaab Aba Hazoor
According to Bollywood movies we Pakistani still live in last century. We use words like “Abba Jaan” “Ammi Hazoor” “Janab e Aali Tashreef Rakhyaa”. Brrrrrrr
2) People with white Toopi & eyes full of “Surma”
I can state confidentially that Bollywood is unaware of fashion sense of people of Pakistan. Dude Pakistanis are much more fashionable and well-dressed than you. Our universities are full of handsome hunks and beauty queens, even you will find many attractive faces on a single bus stop. Beauty is overloaded here. :p
3) Pakistani are Carnivorous
Indians think that we Pakistani only eat meat all the time. Siri Pai in breakfast, Nalli Nehari in lunch and motton Karaahi in dinner. Pal its right that we are brave like loins but we are not carnivores at all.
4) Garaara Dance on weddings
It is a general misconception that on Pakistani weddings or Eid, a dance crew consist off girls wearing some strange outdated garraras and boys having turbans, perform a so called folk dance. Come one lad, it’s just a notion.
5) Hyyee Allah
According to Indians movies “hyee Allah” is a catchphrase of every Pakistani like Hyee Allah I don’t know about it or Hyee Allah Munnay k Abba ap aa gae. I just want to say….. Hyeee Allah that’s not true.
6) Big sized black Taweez in neck
Bollywood movies depict that we used to wear big sized black Taveez in neck and kiss it right after two minutes or Muslim mothers tie a “Imaan Zamin” on their son’s arm even if he is going to buy yogurt from the market.
