Gurmeet Choudhary is an Indian television actor, model and dancer. His nagative character in a 3D Tamil Show Mayavi was highly appreciated and it was one of the most watched shows of Asia. He has also done few music videos. He was the winner of Jhalak Dikhlaja Season 5, 2012. He made his debut with Mahesh Bhatt film Khamoshiyan alongwith actors Ali Fazal and Sapna Pabbi.
He was born on 22 February 1984 in Bagalpur, Bihar, India. His father Mr. Sitaram Choudhary was in the army but he got to stay in many different parts of India. He was brought up majorly in Jabalpur and Chennai. His education is completed in Jabalpur, Madhya Pradesh. He was fond of acting since childhood and was seen acting in many school plays. he has won Mr. Jabalpur title and also participated in Mr. India contest. At the age of of eighteen he joined a thetre in Jabalpur and tried really hard for almost 5 years to reach peak. He has a brother who is doctor. Gurmeet Choudhary and Debina Bonnerjee got married on 15 February 2011 in a private ceremony. They both worked for quite long in the TV Series of Ramayana as Ram and Sita. He got an award from Anuvibha Sadhna Kendra Jaipur. He got the New Talent award of the Best New Male Actor for his awesome performance as Ram in The Ramayan.
