ISLAMABAD: Employees of the Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences (Pims) on Thursday held a question and answer session asking the head administrator to remove the healing center from the control of the Shaheed Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto Medical University.
Joint Action Committee Chairman Syed Manzar Naqvi told the press that there are seven clinics in Pims, which give essential offices to patients from the nation over.
"In spite of the fact that the government gives subsidizing to Pims, it has been set under the college and given self-ruling status. As a result of the choice, patients' issues have expanded as the charges for different tests have expanded, and representatives are likewise enduring," he said.
In 2013, the PPP government overhauled Pims to a therapeutic college engaged to give degrees, recognition testaments and other scholarly qualifications.
