JOIN PAKISTAN AIR FORCE AS A COMMISSIONED OFFICER 2016
Pakistan Air Force is one of the most professional military force in the world. It has made a honorable place in the hearts of Pakistanis as well as other countries citizen due to its brilliant role in making the world more peaceful place of living. Its personals have achieved many top awards in different military exercises held internationally. Almost every Pakistani citizen has a wish in their heart to become a part of such a great force due to the role it is playing in national defense and stability. For those having certain academic qualification has a good news because Pakistan Air Force is going to recruit the potential young of this nation. The induction is active in the following Commissioned Courses;
143 GD(P):
GD(P) is the abbreviation of General Duties Pilot and 143 is its sequential number. GD(P) is the regular branch of Pakistan Air Force hence it's a permanent commission. The general criteria for it is as under;
The male citizens of Pakistan can apply for this if their age is 16 to 22 years on April 09, 2017. The candidate must be unmarried and have atleast 163 cm height or 5 feet and 4 inches. Candidates must have passed the F.Sc (with Pre-engineering, Pre-medical or Computer Science) or A-Level with the subject combination of Physics and Mathematics/Biology) and have achieved at least 60% marks.
89 Aeronautical Engineering:
Aeronautical Engineering is also the regular branch. It is also permanent commission. The requirement for it is the same as for the GD(P) but the difference is that the candidates must have read the Maths and Physics combination is their academic, it means that candidates with the Biology as a subject such as F.Sc Pre-Medical Can't apply for Aeronautical Engineering. The second difference is that candidates must have achieved 65% marks rather than 60%.
26 Air Defence:
This is also permanent commission in Pakistan Air Force. Its basic responsibility is to defend the Airs of Motherland and support the Fighter Jet, Anti-Aircraft missile system and radar system is used by the Air Defence branch.
The criteria for Air Defence is same as for the GD(P) Course.
Engineering Branch (119 Combat Support Course):
It is Non GD Commission Course and also known as Special Purpose Short Services Commission. The rank of Flying Officer (Equal to Captain in Pakistan Army) is given to the cadet after successful 1 year training at PAF Academy Risalpur. The criteria for this is as the following;
The male and female both gender can apply. The required age is 18 to 30 years on April 16, 2017 and the minimum required height for male candidates is 163 cm (5 feet and 4 inch) and for the female candidates is 147 cm (4 feet 10 inch). The candidate must posses the 4 year engineering degree which is known as BE/BSc in the discipline of Electronics/Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering. The degree awarding institute/university must be accredited with Pakistan Engineering Council. The Candidate must have registered with Pakistan Engineering Council [PEC]. The candidate must have posses 2.5 GPA out of 4 in semester system or 62.5% marks in annual system.

Education Branch (119 Combat Support Course):
This is also Special Purpose Short Services Commission Course. The requirement for this induction is same as for the Engineering Branch but the difference is that the lower limit of age is 21 instead of 18 years and the degree required is 16 year degree such as BS/M.Sc/M.A in Psychology. Candidates must have passed the examination with atleast 2nd division.Information Technology:
It is Short Service Commission. Only male citizen of Pakistan can apply for it. The age required for it is 18 to 30 years on April 16, 2016 and the minimum required height is 163 cm or 5 feet and 4 inch. The candidates must have the 16 years education degree such as Master or BS in Computer Science or Information Technology fields for example BSCS, MCS, M.Sc (CS/IT) or BE (CS) with minimum 2nd division. The degree awarding institution/university must be recognized with Higher Education Commission [HEC]. The candidates must have 2 years experience in the relevant field. The candidate will be given Flying Officer rank upon successful training.Accounts Branch, Logistics Branch:
It is also Short Services Commission. The other Criteria is similar as for the Information Technology Branch however the education must be in business related field such as BBA (4 years), MBA, B.Com, M.Com, ACCA/ACMA or BS Accounting and Finance.Registration:

Selection Process:
The candidates will register online and will get a specific test date and time. The candidate must have to be present at the given date and time at the selected selection center.
